The Board of Directors of VinIT Institute of Technology is pleased to announce: At 19h30 on August 22, 2019, VinIT Institute of Technology successfully conducted a test of a 400 kW high-power plasma generator. VinIT Institute of Technology fully mastered this technology from design research to manufacturing, testing and readying to soon bring this research application in Vietnam.
This is the result of tireless, persistent and creative labor of the collective of scientists and experts of VinIT Institute of Technology in a very difficult situation in relation to the lack of research conditions, infrastructure and time pressure to achieve the fastest goal of finding technologies and solutions to solve the problem of society – domestic solid waste treatmente – safely and effectively. With this result, Vietnam has officially registered its name in the group of very few countries with advanced science and technology of the world such as the United States, Canada, Russia, … can master and develop PLASMA technology for Waste treatment, including toxic and very toxic waste.
The success of this innovative research project opens new directions for research and application of plasma technology in Vietnam. Including the absolute radical treatment of domestic solid waste, medical waste, industrial waste and hazardous waste without emissions of Dioxin and Furan gas (in orange poison), and at the same time the process of turning waste into a valuable resource, ie creating electricity (Waste-to-Energy). In addition, plasma garbage disposal technology will lay the foundation for the formation of a completely new industry – recycling waste industry to recover precious resources, bringing great benefits to the country.
The Board of Directors of VinIT Institute of Technology would like to express our sincere thanks to all cadres, employees, scientific staff and experts of VinIT as well as partner units who have forgotten theirself, created, and effectively worked with the highest sense of responsibility before country!
Board of Directors of VinIT Institute of Technology.
